Prototype two


This update is much closer to the end of the jam, only about seven hours remaining.

I have made many small changes, just adding interactions here or there, and some bigger ones. For a start, I'm using some Incompetech music that feels like it fits the mood: creepy and forward-moving. It reminds me of Cultist Simulator, so I hope it has that effect for other players.
I've also revamped some parts of the equipment system, adding a fourth tier (and corresponding location) as well as the ability to check what stock you have, and hopefully much clearer feedback when you're about to send someone to their doom. (On that note, I've streamlined the system that checks if a hero survives a location.) I've developed the rumour system a little more (although it's still just a way to delay progress, I'm not doing much interesting with it). Trading should work now.

Also, as I'm writing this, I've just noticed that the word "Innkeeper" could be seen as a pun on the word "Ink", which is the tool I'm using to make this whole game. But then again, so could "Incompetech". It Is An Innkeeper does not have that many puns inside it, only surrounding it.
